Veneered Cajon Drum
I built this drum out of 1/2 inch Baltic Birch plywood with a beautiful one-of-a-kind Walnut veneer and Tiger Maple edges. The head is 1/8 inch Maple plywood and has an adjustable snare built behind it. From no snare to full snare, it’s up to you. It is 18 inches tall (including the rubber feet) x 14 inches wide x 12 inches deep. It is designed to sit on and play or lean it in front of you if room allows. I believe the veneer stiffens the box which gives this mobile drum a beautiful tone.
